Today, when discussing with friends about this tea drinking community thing, the difference between men and women was felt by several friends to be not as imagined. The tea-drinking community said that basically there are only two groups: males and females. These two groups include all tea drinkers. From these two groups again can be divided into many categories. Let's first discuss about these big groups

Today we were discussing with friends about the group of tea drinkers, the difference between males and females surprised our friends.

The tea drinking crowd say that in short it's just males and females two big groups.

These two groups cover all people who drink tea.

Further subdivision of these two groups reveals many subcategories.

Let's start with a big group.

Men are definitely a group that targets drinking tea.

Almost all tea sellers or consumers are aware that men are the main consumer group, and even most people think drinking tea is a man's thing, what does it have to do with women?

Actually here in this place there's a small surprise that is, actually to date the women drinking tea are definitely not in the minority and they could compete with men any day, being more professional and more dedicated.

We asked many tea sellers and owners of tea spaces about it. They gave us feedback that women still made up the majority in their client base.

In fact, there are still quite a few differences between male and female audiences. There are also many different things that attract them to drinking tea.

Men drink a lot of tea because there is some genetic factor inside and also it's a social need. They are more concerned about the value of the tea itself and its value in consumption.

Women who drink tea are more concerned with ritual and the aesthetic brought by their teacups, more concerned with the beautiful experience of drinking tea as a way of life.

So to say, men and women have different demands when it comes to drinking tea.

It's also interesting to many tea drinkers because they see drinking tea as a pretty random event and not necessarily complex, but when looking at this data it becomes interesting.

So we can actually look at our understanding of tea in everyday life with a broader perspective.

From a broad classification point of view, men and women are a distinction in the group that we drink tea. Men put more value on social value; women pay more attention to ritual and aesthetics.

If we break it down even further, we can segment out many groups, and these groups can be segmented further into finer segments. These fine segments will eventually turn into more precise target audiences.

But actually we don't need such a fine-tuning.

Our target customer group is actually more what we are ourselves a kind of property.

Those who sell tea or run a space for it have their own unique ways of segmenting their customer base.

Someone who has a deep understanding of tea can attract people who have an even deeper need for it.

Some people specialize in tea sets, and so they must have a group of teaware enthusiasts around them.

Some people are skilled at playing circles, and they must be playing tricks on others.

The target market is simply people who you have accumulated over time through your business operations. What kind of customer service are you providing, that's the kind of clients you'll attract.

And people with similar patterns will always have their own groups surrounding them, so business is never bad.

As a businessman you are actually building up your own circle of customers, once you have this circle then it will be stable.

It means that once you know which business model fits you best, you will also have a clear picture of your target market. If not, then it's time to review and refine your operating principles.
